Hi Stevan and Joy, I am deleting wp-admin and wp-includes folder from the server now and uploading both folders from the new version I unzipped.

I have done everything what you mentioned but still getting the following error:-

Also unable to open http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php Also I did not change anything in old config.php file.
Thanks Steven for your prompt response. I have downloaded 5.0.2. I need to delete wp-admin and wp-includes from fresh copy of wordpress and upload the remaining files and directories to live server, right? Please guide.
I did not take back up before updating the website and uploading the fresh file will impact functionality or content of the website? Please suggest what to do?
