Same error with me.
Removed it, installed again with the file from ww.wp.xz.cn via FTP and via wordpress installer.
Same error again for each method.
I had no previous version priory installed.
increased memory limit up to 512M.
now it’s working.
unfortunalty that didn’t solve the the conflict 🙁
the configuration page of the plugin “maintenance” still shows up with an empty page.
