I was able to get all the images and links to appear correctly by creating a virtual host on WAMP (http://forum.wampserver.com/read.php?2,127757). I still can’t get wp-admin however, it could be that it is directing me to a https:// as appose to http://, I’m not sure. I’m marking this as resolved as it is no longer a Terrifico theme issue.

I did try the duplicator app, but it gave me a series of 5 or 6 warnings so I did not proceed further, but thanks for the suggestion, I may try it again in the future.
