Thanks for the edit; it worked on my site. I don’t use GoLive, so I have no idea how the code got in there… I do use an FTP client, so it seems to be something else that’s screwing with my code.

Thank you very much, HandySolo. It’s useful to know that checking the Permalinks first is one way to troubleshoot the RSS feed problems. In this case, WordPress codex was helpful in getting me through the step-by-step instructions, including creating the .htaccess file. Thanks so much for your help!
