Hi Alexandru again, sorry to say but now I have the same issue on another website I’m the admin of. Other people who have access to that other website as well (not from my IP address), just in minor roles, get the same window at the same time. It disappeared after a while, on their computer and on my computer. So right now, it works again.
So, this has obviously nothing to do with my IP address – as different users on different computers with different IPs were affected at the same time.
Either my websites using WP Captcha do not allow the access by anyone – in this case it is a problem caused by WP Captcha – or by the cache, as you suggested.
Or there is a problem with my provider, as both affected websites are hosted by the same provider.
I’m sorry, I can’t replicate almost nothing. First I logged out. When I returned to the login-page half a day later later again, I got this caution window saying “"We're sorry, but your IP has been blocked due to too many recent failed login attempts.etc.”
Right now everything works fine again, but I don’t know how long this will last. The only other time we had this issue come up was when cache stored a “locked out” state of the pages and was displaying that to everyone regardless if they were actually locked out, or if they were whitelisted or admins etc
Thank you @talextech
I’m not entirely sure, but that issue seemed to appear whenever (two times) I tested (as a logged-in admin) a contact form in the front-end which was protected by reCaptcha. Both times I used a dummy name and a mail address different to my admin’s mail address. Then I logged out of the backend – and immediately the said caution popped up. As mentioned above, I’m not sure, probably it had nothing to do with it.
However, both times I deleted the plugin via FTP, installed it again and everything was working fine again.- This reply was modified 1 year, 3 months ago by srs365.
I’m replying myself: I disabled the Recaptcha-plugin via FTP, so I got access again.

In reply to: [WP Armour - Honeypot Anti Spam] Spamming or your Javascript is disabledHello everybody, same problem here.
In my case customers IP were blocked, so they can’t recall the website. As soon the issue will be solved, don’t forget to delete those IP addresses of the customers of yours.
Thanks to everybody, especially to @kingyyyy for mailing staging site details to @dnesscarkey
@dnesscarkey good luck for finding the issue. I needed to disable the plugin for now.- This reply was modified 1 year, 6 months ago by srs365.
