I ended up downloading one of the most recently changed branches on Github, installed it, and it worked for me. Looking at the diff, it looks like most (if not all) references to cmb have been changed to cmb2 (i.e. cmb2_get_option). Hope this helps.
Running into the same issue. How did you disconnect Jetpack from WordPress.com? Does it take getting in touch with someone at Automattic?
