Update: This is not the preferred fix, but I have a workaround. In ProPhoto5 site settings I changed the Mobile settings to mimic the desktop settings and now it works. Must be something with how that theme handles mobile.
Update: If I switch my WP theme to a default one like TwentyFifteen this works just fine across the board. There must be some conflict with ProPhoto5 which is the theme I’m using. =(
