Regarding Litespeed, I had deactivated and removed the plugin, but without any results.
Adding a product also did not made a difference.
As I am not technical enough, I have found another solution which will work for me.
In the Woocommerce –> products section I have enabled the option that users will be redirected to the checkout page once an item is added to the cart.
Then the cart in the header is updated since a new page is loading.

I have checked all the tax settings, they are correct.
Strange thing is that if I refresh the page, then the cart icon in the header displays the correct amount.
