They said it was somebody else’s problem, not theirs. Ran into a couple of other problems after this one. Switched to FooGallery plugin, no more problems.
I switched to another plugin that’s working.
The reason I keep getting that funny looking page is when you click on the image to take you to the page with the gallery, somehow “bwg_gallery” is getting inserted into the url. The url on the image that links to the page with the gallery is “moorea-and-bora-bora-2015”, but the url that comes up is “bwg_gallery/moorea-and-bora-bora-2015”. I discovered that when I completely deleted the “moorea-and-bora-bora-2015” page and this other page still came up when I clicked on the image. One thing I discovered is, as most of my pages with galleries in them, the page and the gallery name is the same, in this case the page and the gallery are both named “Moorea and Bora Bora 2015”, and the custom URL in the image that links to the page I only use a self-relative URL, i.e. in this case “moorea-and-bora-bora-2015”, no domain in front of it. I tried changing the custom URL to include the domain, i.e. “https://test.stanandglendas.website/moorea-and-bora-bora-2015” and it goes to the correct page, no “bwg_gallery” was inserted. Not sure what caused this to start happening, but the pages I have this problem with I recreated in the new block editor, but, there is one page I recreated in the new editor that does not have this problem.
With that turned on when I return to the page after updating it and getting back to normal, besides the other issues it says “edit post” at the top instead of being blank where it should say “edit page”. It appears it changes from a page to a post when you leave and return, with the “On <date>” thing above the gallery and titles of other galleries below like they were previous posts…?
Here’s a video starting in the block editor. All I do is update without changing anything and then view page. Page at that point looks normal, has an edit selection at top, font for title is correct and no extraneous text above or below the gallery. Then I leave the page and then return. After returning the edit selection is missing at top, font for title has changed, and there’s text with a date above the gallery and below the gallery there’s text that appears to be the names of 2 other galleries, one on left bottom and one on right bottom. The first 2 pages I created with the gallery as block work fine. Third page I created has this problem. At one time I changed the gallery to a widget in a row and it worked ok, but at some point this problem started occuring again when using the widget also. Here’s a youtube video I did of the screen recording: https://youtu.be/NhZhCC0mva8
Sorry, that wasn’t the problem, something else going on I haven’t figured out yet. Thanks for your prompt response.
Let me know if this works for you: https://youtu.be/M0XK–A58cE
ok, thanks for the reply
No, I have that set. If you look at the web page I referenced above, the thumbnails do not cover the page full width, they’re bunched in a standard sized area in the middle of the page.
I did the upgrade to 1.5.70 of the plugin and still have the problem. The page displays ok the first time I load the page then after that the thumbnails do not fill the block they are in.
I’m running Windows 10 Home Edition, Version 2004, Build 19041.867

In reply to: [Origami] Can the theme background be made full width? Thanks, I’m almost there after those steps. I also went to theme design, page container, border color and set that to white (to match the background color) and now I have a screen that’s white edge to edge but still a faint border showing around the middle of the page. Is there some CSS that will turn that border off completely, perhaps?

In reply to: [Origami] Can the theme background be made full width? Thanks, but I don’t have, or want, a background image, I just want a solid white background from edge to edge of the screen.
