I have found the problem – a rather silly styling error in the child theme style.css.

I don’t think it is the problem with the plugin. More likely to be problem with the child theme.
Only on the content body where a page template is used, it is not displayed. Elsewhere (footer/header), or when use a main theme (in opposite of child theme) it displayed fine.

I should have added that icons in header and footer widgets are showing up fine. Just those in page templates.
