Okay I installed this plugin and ran the optimization but I get an error that your help article doesn’t have an answer for: Error parsing the response to JSON. It seems to relate to the posts and articles post type that we imported (about 400 of them). Might that be the problem and how do I resolve?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] New Update IssueYes I did turn off all plugins except the Events Calendar and when I reactivate the other plugins one by one it is definitely the WP Go Maps plugin that caused the conflict. I will open another ticket for this specific problem. Thanks!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] New Update IssueI have the exact same issue and it appears to be a conflict with WP GO Maps https://www.wpgmaps.com/ – v9.0.19
I am using the latest WordPress 6.2 on my staging environment with ALL other plugins disabled except Events Calendar and WP Go Maps and it is clear when I create a new event with WP Go Maps deactivated all is fine, but when I activate it the new event goes awry with those same errors.

In reply to: [WP User Avatars] How to uninstall WP User Avatar Plugin?I agree! When I either deactivate, update, or delete this plugin it completely throws off the formatting of my blog posts and other templates. So frustrating. Please help!

In reply to: [Page Links To] Function not working anymoreI just installed this on a new site and it is not working – no field to place a custom URL in shows up when we choose “A Custom URL” option.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Editor Styles Not WorkingMarking as resolved.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Editor Styles Not WorkingAs of right now, it appears that the editor styles AND the custom Formats dropdown ARE working as they should for us. We did not change anything to see these results.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Editor Styles Not WorkingWe are not seeing the text styling in the WYSIWYG editor screen. It isn’t necessarily the Formats dropdown, but the visual editor itself. We’ve added the styles to the editor-styles.css file so that what shows in the visual editor matches what shows on the front end of the website. But since the last update and WordPress 4.9.6 update, we are not seeing any of those styles on any of the websites we’ve done this for. I did also notice that when looking at the Developer Tools in Firefox, the font-family is showing at “font-family: ! cabin important;” instead of “font-family: cabin !important;”. Not sure how this is happening, but it is not like that in the editor-styles.css file.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Editor Styles Not WorkingAny help with this would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Andrew, you asked “Are you asking how to make an excerpt from the Homepage instead of displaying the full post/ page/ section?” and yes that is our question. Adding a More to make it work is a possible workaround but I still find it confusing and frustrating for my clients to use a theme provided by WordPress that doesn’t have a working functionality like it should. When one chooses to show excerpts this functionality should work, don’t you agree? Right now it only shows full posts regardless.
Thank you RavanH. Will you please notify us via this thread when the fix has been applied to the upcoming release? Thanks! I’ve uninstalled the plugin til we get that fix.
is the vendor going to update the plugin? I don’t like to tweak code of someone else’s plugin.
