Just rename the folder and the site should work? It doesn’t π
Yes, I have updated. It was a confusing message because I thought my host would update to the latest of whatever “stuff” they use in their cPanel. Now I understand that I have to watch this myself.
Will it automatically update to the standard version when 3.0 goes live?
Thanks for reaching out! It’s set to /%category%/%postname%/
However today it works, and it also worked all the time on another site when it didn’t work on the one in question. They are configured the same and are with the same host, so not sure what caused it. Thanks, anyway!
Same for me. I’m able to create a new link, but it shows the same error:
Not Found
The requested URL /bcta was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Thanks for awesome support! Everything seems to be working, so I won’t bother you unless something gets fucked up again! Thanks again!
Plugin folder is named “wordfence”.
There’s no chance of me entering wrong login details as I use Roboform with a 196 bit strength (whatever that means in practice) password.
“Immediately block IP’s that access these URLs” is empty, but I have my IP in “Whitelisted IP addresses that bypass all rules”.
So there are no other files/folders that they could have changed? What did they mean when they wrote:
“In order to resolve this I have now moved .htaccess file to hta.txt and installed fresh .htaccess file with default WordPress rules”
β¦ and:
“Have you enabled aggressive blacklist of ip’s within wordfence settings? I have added now at bottom allow from all rule to override this, so you don’t have issues like this again”
Thanks!
All sites are working now, and I’ve deleted all blocked IPs.
If it’s necessary to change the Wordfence directory to original, I need some guidance on how/where to do that.

In reply to: Can I remove auto-generated versions of original image? Thanks, but why 15 different? Logical that it would create 3 images with the exact dimensions set in settings>media, but it doesn’t.
