If you’re on a new install there is qtranslate plus which is a continuation of this plugin for newer wordpress. Develloper hasn’t update this plugin for quite some time now. I don’t know if uou can upgrade though if you have an older install ….
would you be kind to tell us also how did you manage to setup category pages ?
