Thanks. The database option is not for me, i’d kill the whole thing. I managed by thrashing the page and building it a new – in the end that was faster than any researching a solution. I stay away from the Yoast Rewrite function now.
I have the same problem. I have a page that i tried the “Rewrite & Republish” function on. I can’t exactly describe what i did, maybe it was because we were logged in with two editors and maybe we edited at the same time??? The situation i have now is:
A page that continously notifies me about the duplicate post. But there is no duplicate of this page existing anywhere. Trash and Drafts are empty. This page will no longer let me use the “Rewrite & Republish” function on it, nor of any clone i make of it.

(I can live with the error, since in my particular case i AM able still to edit and save changes on the page – unlike this guys – so the bug does not much harm here – i hope!)
Please advise what to do.
