OK, so here’s what I ended up doing to get the plugin to work.
Created a local version of WordPress
Updated the plugins, but skipped the plugin version that caused an issue and installed the latest version
Copied the values from wp-options > woocommerce_stripe_settings from local to live
Rebooted the server
Only spent a couple of days on it!
Thanks for all the assistance.Hi @fetenlakhal
I still haven’t been able to get the plugin to work 🙁
I am still stuck in the redirection loop.@daledupreez – I am baffled too.
Makes me wonder if it’s a AWS lightsail issue – maybe related to varnish cache.#I think next step may be to get it running locally, see if I can reconnect and then copy the db info over. Not sure thast would work though as I copied the woocommerce_stripe_settings into the current db and it’s still triggering the reconnect script 🙁
Thanks for all the help
@daledupreez I deactivated all plugins that aren’t woocommerce related and the issue still persists
Just left woocommerce and stripe plugin active – still the same issue.
even tried with one of the wordpress default themes – still no luck- This reply was modified 1 year ago by stephobrien72.

My final url also ends in
&_wpnonce=URL parameter,@daledupreez
Last entry to the error log was:
[23-May-2025 04:10:00] WARNING: [pool www] seems busy (you may need to increase pm.start_servers, or pm.min/max_spare_servers), spawning 8 children, there are 77 idle, and 97 total children
Nothing in the woocommerce > Status > Logs either@daledupreez – thank you for the file.
I have updated the live server to include this.
@daledupreez – that sounds great, thank you.
While you do that, I and looking at an old backup I have and am going to use that to populate thewoocommerce_stripe_settings@daledupreez
You are correct with the issue I am facing.
I can see there is data in the ‘woocommerce_stripe_settings’ – but this is historical data. If I empty the values, nothing gets added when I try to connect Stripe.
I am happy for any logging to be enabled in order for us to resolve this issue.@daledupreez – Morning!
Yes I am still getting the reconnection loop. See previous messages for screenshots including console errors.Hi @mahfuzurwp

Hi @mahfuzurwp
It’s the same in a different browser.
I’m not aware of any security headers/firwewall policies
Tried a couple of browsers – so don’t think its privacy setting related
All I get is that same screenshot as shared earlier.- This reply was modified 1 year ago by stephobrien72.
I get the following errors in the console:
https://snipboard.io/Pgcu13.jpg
and then an additional entry when I click the connect button:

When I click connect account, I get redirected to stripe – I login successfully and the site I want to connect is already selected. When I then click the connect button I get redirected back to Woo.- This reply was modified 1 year ago by stephobrien72.
