Apparently I can’t spell create.
I figured there was probably a plugin, but I think this is a feature that could also easily be added to the actual wordpress installation and would be a useful feature, especially for amateur end users.
I have no problem working with plugins, creating templates, but some of the people who do the day-to-day updates and posts on sites I help with are not very savvy with code and being able to simply duplicate a page and change the relevant parts would help them out.
Same problem. I had local flash audio players on my site to embed sound files and now, after upgrading to 3.1, they no longer show up. Tried downloading a couple different flash object plugins to get them working, but no luck with swfobj and users report kimili also doesn’t work with the new version.
I can understand why wordpress would have a whitelist for embedding, but I think local flash objects ought to be included on that.
