Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: WP 3.0 – Missing functions anywhereYea, a live blog would blow. And no one seems to know of a real solution to it either, which is the real frustrating part.

In reply to: WP 3.0 – Missing functions anywhereJust to keep you in the loop, I found a solution that seems to have worked, though it’s not the ideal solution. I had to go through and re-copy the .php files directory by directory, until it finally worked. I’m sure there’s probably a better way if there were more detailed error messages, but I’m new to php and wordpress so I don’t know of it.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: WP 3.0 – Missing functions anywhereI’ve had the exact same problem with various files…. I found that re-uploading them fixed MOST of them, however post.php continues to have the problem…. Which means anything requiring post.php gives the error. I’m still unable to find the solution.

In reply to: Fatal ErrorHello all, I’m still having problems with this. Anything that requires post.php gives the error. Any insight at all would be very much appreciated.

In reply to: Fatal ErrorAnother update…. I’m not sure what’s changed (human error perhaps) but new posts are actually being posted, without overwriting previous ones. I am still, however, getting the error posted above.

In reply to: Fatal ErrorOk, so it seems it does make a post inspite of the error, but each new post over-writes the previous post.
I should also add that that when I’m creating the post, I can’t actually see what I’m typing since it appears to be a white font on a white background. If it hit Ctrl-a the text highlights, so it is certainly there.
