In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteHello @doublezed2
Here are the settings :
https://snipboard.io/nVWGC2.jpg (General settings)
https://snipboard.io/IXRT7S.jpg (Tax tab)
https://snipboard.io/Q1eHzx.jpg (Standard rate)
https://snipboard.io/IW6Vok.jpg (Custom rate called food)
https://snipboard.io/sN0KpE.jpg (test product setting)
https://snipboard.io/Xr6tGa.jpg (order using the test product)
https://snipboard.io/AF4S3d.jpg (order using the custom test product – the only change is the tax class)
I have noticed 2 things during this test :
- With the current setting you can see on my screenshots, when I change the standard rate from * to BE it doesn’t work anymore
- If I let the * instead of a country and change the localization setting from “Default customer location : shop country/region” to “no location by default”, fill the form and add the same zip code, it doesn’t work anymore.
As a result, my guess would be an issue related to the localization of the customer not being recorded the right way and thus creating an issue with the tax calculation.
Have a nice day,
Steve

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteIt’s a temporary website that should expire in a few hours, it’s not the true website.. In addition, having the ability to have a look would speed up the process of solving this issue as it already has taken a lot of time

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteHello @doublezed2
I have to admit I wasn’t aware of tastewp, I’ve tried creating a website and I can reproduce the issue :
https://grotesquepoint.s4-tastewp.com/?woo-share=W31zFjjxy2z1Af54DZK6ZCg30NHsy1da
The “boutique” tab is the shop. You’ll find 2 products “test” and “test custom tax”
For the test product, you’ll see a 21% tax when you enter Belgium as country and for instance 4651 as zip code.
For the test custom tax product, it should be a 6% tax but nothing is shown when entering the same country and zip code.
So at this point I think it’s either a missconfiguration (in the tax tab ?) or it’s really an issue with the custom tax being assigned.
Here are the credentials as it’s a temporary website :
URL: https://grotesquepoint.s4-tastewp.com
[redacted]I quickly created the website and set it up pretty fast, allowing tax calculation, setting up taxes and created 2 products.
Thanks and have a nice day

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteHello,
You’re 100% right, as soon as I assign a custom tax class, it doesn’t work anymore..
The issue is that I need a least 2 classes as I have products with a 6% and 21% taxes..
Have a nice day

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteThanks a lot for not giving up as it seems I’m the only one having this issue..
I’ve deleted the taxes and cleared the transients once again to have a fresh start.
Added the * to apply the taxes in the standard tax rates page and it seems to work so it’s looking a bit better. Just to be sure, I’ve tried using a custom tax class and it’s not working anymore. It’s definitely an issue related to tax classes not being detected but how do I fix this ?
Hope we could fix this issue soon, thanks again

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteHello @mosesmedh
The website is litteraly in the first message : staging.chezpopol.be
Geolocate shop or using shop base doesn’t fix the issue : here is the report, I activated the geolocate setting and only WC has been activated : https://pastebin.com/yXkzcGc8
I’ll try to do a fresh install and I’ll check the data base tables myself as nobody seems to even consider that might be the issue.
Note that I already googled this issue multiple times and I already tried a lot of “fixes” like the ones you’re asking and it doesn’t work as you can see.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteAlready tried without the 2 plugins and only with WooCommerce activated, still nothing.
Storefront and WooCommerce only => issue not fixed
Already tried multiple times to clear transients and delete tax rates.
Would it be possible to check if I create an account for you ?
As I said, I’m thinking more and more about the fact that it might be an issue with a table in the data base. It seems that no matter what I try, the taxes aren’t taken into account by WooCommerce.
thanks and have a nice day

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Tax not working even in staging websiteHi @lovingbro ,
Tried to share the most detailled report as I already wasted so much time trying to find a solution..
Here is the full report : https://pastebin.com/z0gJwhFG
I’ve just tried while in troubleshooting mode and only with WooCommerce activated + 2024 Theme and same result, no tax added. Made a second test with the addition of 2 plugins (one for the shipping and one for the taxes – full report bellow).
I’m really thinking it’s either a corrupt file somewhere during the installation or an issue with the data base..
You can find the full report while in troubleshooting mode (2024 theme + WC + 2 plugins (delivery and taxes)) : https://pastebin.com/8sQTgysm
Thanks and have a nice day,
Hello,
I created a product category archive using Elementor : https://vilofoss-dev.techturn.be/categorie-produit/especes/bovins/
I choosed the product category page where the filter should appears (the one linked before) but now I only see the button. I switched the shortcode type to default woocommerce as adviced but as I created an archive page using Elementor, should I put the type to Elementor?
There are some products matching the categories on my filter so it should appear.
ThanksHello,
You can check on this test URL : https://vilofoss-dev.techturn.be/especes/bovins-2/
If you scroll down a bit, you see that some products have a blue description.
When you click on the a filter, the layout changes and we just have a green “read more” and we have to refresh in order to retrieve the base design (resetting doesn’t change back the layout).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Custom WP Store Locator] Translation stringsHello,
Thanks, everything is working now !
PS: just so you know, sometimes, the search bar doesn’t work when you put some zipcode even if the store on the list has the same zipcode. Same for the button “show on map” if there are several stores in the same area.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Custom WP Store Locator] Translation stringsHello,
Thanks for you reply, if you need help for the translation, feel free to ask.
Saw your update but seems there are some strings still missing :- The placeholder “zipcode” on the search bar
- “Address”, “postal code”, “website” and “phone” on the list where you can see all the stores
- “Get direction” when you click on a store and you see it on the map

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Quick View] Remove add to cart buttonHello,
Thanks for your message.
Basically the CSS Facundo gave me works but instead of adding the “.product.post-1234” can I replace this part with something else that does this on all the products in the yith quick view? That would be great so I don’t have to surcharge my CSS with all the same lines and only the product id that changes.
Have a nice day,
