I switched to the block editor and regret it,
The block editor has completely broken for me and now I can’t use it at all. The xtra code it throws into pages makes using the classic editor really difficult to use now.
Ran the Health Site – turned off all plugins, and the block editor is still broken.
I have this exact same problem – have done the Health Check and now I can’t edit any page using the block editor at all.
WordPress 5.8.1 running Twenty Sixteen theme.
