At 13.32Hrs, and then again at 13.47hrs the Photon CDN servers pre-fetched the resource “Blue-Cheese-Bavarois-with-Rye-Crisps-and-Scarlet-Grapes-2.png”;
192.0.86.104 – – [13/Jun/2015:13:47:50 +1000] “GET /wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Blue-Cheese-Bavarois-with-Rye-Crisps-and-Scarlet-Grapes-2.png HTTP/1.1” 200 711791 “-” “Photon/1.0”
This is rendered on the page as
http://i0.wp.com/citynews.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Blue-Cheese-Bavarois-with-Rye-Crisps-and-Scarlet-Grapes-2.png?resize=330%2C219This URL has been failing until 16.48hrs, when it finally rendered, and the image appeared. But, due to the fact tiled galleries likes to move things around, the other sizes of this image do NOT render.
I fail to understand how using a CDN to resize images (that are already uploaded and on my server) using a method that takes just under 3 hours to render, is meant to make things “faster”.

images out of i2.wp.com are still failing without any information past “remote data could not be fetched”. Images are easily available from the primary website.
If we can get an answer or some more info to help with debugging, that’d be really great.
