No, there is no check at the ‘username’ level for the Smart Manager access.
It could be that the other user would not be having proper ‘administrator’ user role capabilities and hence would be unable to access Smart Manager.

Thank you for trying out the Smart Manager plugin and taking out time to leave a review!
Smart Manager is a GPL (open source) plugin. Using the Lite (free) version, you can edit the entire store provided you save your changes after every three records. We have also mentioned the same on the Smart Manager ww.wp.xz.cn page.
Apart from that, the Lite version also gives additional functionalities such as simple & advanced search, manage WooCommerce orders, coupons, and so on. Please give it a try if you haven’t.
You don’t have to upgrade to the Pro version if you are happy with the Lite version, the Lite version will always stay free.
Lastly, the WordPress repository does have a lot of Freemium plugins and Smart Manager Lite does add value even with its limited features.

Would like to update you that currently Smart Manager plugin is designed in such a way that it would automatically scan your site’s WordPress database and let you view & manage any custom field for any custom post type like WooCommerce Products, etc.
So, if you are unable to locate any field in Smart Manager, request you to kindly set the value for the same custom field for any one of the products using ‘WooCommerce > Products’ and then try to show the same column in Smart Manager grid using the show/hide columns functionality of the plugin.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Could you please make sure that you are using the latest version of the Smart Manager plugin [i.e. v5.10.0] on your site?
If still the issue persists, then request you to please install the free plugin Health Check & Troubleshooting by WordPress and keep only WooCommerce and Smart Manager plugins active on the admin side of your site, and then try to reproduce the same issue. This doc will help you with setting it up.
