Update Email Subscribers to latest version – v3.2.
Check if you have created Static Template or Dynamic Template. Only Static Templates are visible under Send Mail section.@despina.mina,
Which languagae .po & .mo file you are using? And what is your current WordPress version?
Please update Email Subscribers to latest version – v3.2. Then locate the plugin’s .po file. Open in loco and delete the exisitng translation for that string. Re-translate that string and download new po & mo files.
Upload that newly downloaded po & mo files on your setup and then have a check if translation is displaying correctly. More information : How to change/update/translate any texts from Email SubscribersEditing core plugin files is not really recommended as update for the next version will be difficult for you.

No. To create a new group, you should have atleast one subscriber in it.
Iv set the widget “group” field to be the same name as the group name I just set up in the list. I believe this means any email sign ups will become set to the group only.

Are you referring to Email Subscribers – Group Selector? If yes, then you would need to mention the groups names, you want your subscribers to subscribe while subscribing.
My question is if I have a “News” category setup in WordPress under posts along with several other categories, and I only want the subscribers that are interested in the “News” category to get notifications of anything posted in that particular category how does this all tie in? Would I just need to create a “group” for each of my post categories so that subscribers can get notifications only when a new post is created and tagged with that specific category?

What we need is…if a user is subscribed to multiple categories and the new post is tagged with those specific categories the user ONLY receives 1 email notifying them of the single post that was added.

Increasing PHP Post Max Size has solved the issue for anybody who got the same error. There is no other solution for it as of now.
How many subscribers you have currently? What is your PHP Post Max Size.Please have a check with default WordPress theme (2016/2015) and then have a check.
