What a muppet. I was logged in to the wrong dashboard when I checked. You are quite right – it had “wordpress/wp-content/uploads” so I’ve removed the “wordpress” and it works like a dream. Thank you very much.
I’ve tried both ways and neither work. Normally it’s via the WP uploader.

Thanks esmi – worked perfectly. I didn’t copy the text directly – I copied it using wp’s “copy from word” feature. But maybe I missed doing that on this page. You’re a star!
