I don’t currently use this plugin. I use Flatsome Theme which has now included it’s own infinite scroll integration. I also ditched Facetwp as it’s never correctly worked with other infinite scroll plugins or Themes. We just stick to the WooCommerce default catalog search coupled with Flatsome infinite scroll. This method is reliable and works like a charm.

Sorry I didn’t have better news, but it seems both FacetWp and YITH have both shown no interest in fixing compatibility issues with the two.

I did try the latest FacetWp with the latest Flatsome Infinite scroll and it didn’t function correctly either.

Brilliant! Works like a charm. Edit and delete images via Media Library! Thank You

No big deal about the infinite load more feature. Valid reasons for sure.

Thank you kindly for your efforts.

I’d also make a suggestion to model it off of Etsy Reviews style if possible. It does have pagination along with a contact buyer link on each review. They also link to the product being reviewed which is very helpful. Made tons of sales form this type of aggregated one page review style.

    Just helpful suggestions I hope.

Nice! Yes, this seems to work well. However, the delete/edit image via media still a no go.

    Thanks, the improvement. It’s useful.

    – 3. “Load more” button – I think that it is not necessary to scroll through pages of reviews to leave one. The review form is always shown on the first page. So, I don’t really see a very strong demand for this feature.

I’ve seen a few review plugins that allow you to leave the review at the top of the review list vs leaving it at the bottom of the list but…

You wouldn’t need pagination for ajax powered queries as the “load more” would cascade down without need for a new url. You could set the nested reviews before “load more” to set number such as 5 or 10. Everything would stay on the same page. In this fashion you could just leave the review box at the bottom of the page by default.

    – Might be cool to also allow people to report inappropriate reviews. Just a thought.

    Thanks

I gave this a shot and the two will not play nice together. Seems they compete for the same space as Woo Reviews Pro renames the review tab to Discussions. As such you will receive a Fatal Error. To reverse this you will need to ftp in to plugins and rename the Woo Reviews File. Refresh your admin, then rename the Woo Reviews back to original state. You will be back up and as good as new.

Activate Customer Reviews and leave it alone!

    Thanks for the quick reply:

-I think that if you clear cache after deleting image from FTP, it will stop being show on the product page.

I have tested further and the only way to delete the attached image is by deleting the entire review. The edit image function within media tab should allow the new dimensions set to take effect with your plugin. Currently the two are not communicating past the storage point. Deleting via ftp has no effect, nor does deleting from media – only via comment.

Side Note: I use plugin organizer to only allow plugins to run where needed. I have to allow your plugin full access to be able to upload images via review on my site. If I turn off upload of images via your plugin, then the reviews work fine granting only product page & admin access. Not sure where else your plugin needs access for image uploads. I also disabled the organizer entirely to test the image upload function mentioned above with same results.

I do like how the image opens in my specified lightbox (foobox)or any lightbox. This is very handy!

-I can add an option to customize the maximum size of uploaded picture. Will it be sufficient? Also, I think we shouldn’t put too many restrictions on parameters of uploaded pictures because customers will simply give up if they need to additionally edit picture before upload.

    Yes, this would be good.

-It is possible to add this feature. Is the current limit of 3 pictures too low or too high for you?

Current picture upload quantity is fine at 3, but might be helpful to have a switcher in admin to control 1,2,3, without editing code. I myself prefer 1 only, but no big deal.

I guess the goal here for me is to manually edit uploaded images via media function. This way I can keep in check larger images that can be reduced in size. This way I could even compress them via 3rd party and put them back if need be. Just need the plugin and media edit to work together.

    – My primary need is also the “load more” function after a certain set of nested reviews such as, 5 or however many. Customers that choose to manually add a comment via my site probably will lose interest if they need to scroll through 20 reviews to leave one. Page would load faster too.

    – The ability to add an image on your review form would be excellent!

I have to say, this is the cleanest review plugin that I’ve used to date. I’ve used many. I like the familiar “Amz” look, style and simplicity.

    Thanks,

    Wow! Thanks for the reply.

    -Load More Button:
Perhaps you could dynamically load set amount of reviews such as 5 at a time before you would need to load the next set. Maybe by ajax loading so you’re not refreshing the page each time. This would help with those that have lots and lots of reviews and keep product page load times to a minimum.

    -Reviews:
What you said! “allow only one review per product per verified ORDER and not per verified PURCHASER”

    -Checkbox Requirement:
By adding a checkbox on your review submission page would make sure that the user acknowledges your terms & conditions link. At least so they know it’s there. I know I overlooked the link myself while testing.

Excellent! Thank you for your explanation. I look forward to using the pro version. I truly think you have the ability to provide a full time service with this plugin and wish you the best. The next closet thing is really out of reach for lots of smaller Woo Sites – I just hope you always allow us to keep ownership of our reviews.

    Look forward to the future!

I just noticed the (Terms and Conditions for Reviewers) on the reviews page @ cusrev. That’s what I was looking for. Excellent!

Excellent! Yes, I totally overlooked Curl when updating to php 7. You guys are awesome and provide the best plugins and support. Great Job! 5 stars!

I can confirm that updating to WooCommerce 3.2.1 broke caching with Wp-Rocket 2.10.9. I have two identical development sites. I update WooCommerce on one and noticed nothing was being cached. I then noticed that the second site that hadn’t yet been updated was caching fine. I then update the WooCommerce on the second site and noticed the same cache issue as the first.

I don’t have an answer, but I suspect Woo will take note of the issue as will Wp-rocket. Fortunately, my site is still in development, so I will just wait it out and revert back via backup for time being.

Indeed 9.1.4 is working perfect! Thanks again for supporting this great plugin! We would not be able to reach WooCommerce google page speed scores in the 90’s without. You’re a genius my friend.

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for the quick reply. I spent some time to rule out possible causes and came across the solution. Just to be clear, the issue was I created two galleries containing the same images on two different pages. Only images would show in one gallery while the other would only display images that were not the same. However, in my case they were all the same and none would display in one gallery.

    Solution:

Go to Foogallery Settings>General> and clear HTML Cache & CSS Cache. If you’re running other cache plugins…clear those too for the pages in question. This will resolve the missing images issues shared by multiple galleries.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Stu

Yes, we have this same issue too. Looks like when you update the plugin it will delete all your post type plugin entries. Then you add them again and they won’t save. If you navigate away from the post type entry page within the plugin and navigate back, the plugins are deleted.

I had to revert back to the previous version. I had to add the plugins to disable back in my post type product. However, they do save now on the older version of 9.1.2.

Maybe you can add a way to save & export our settings within the plugin. This way if something goes wrong we can quickly add back our settings for this plugin. Seems that your upgrades are clearing the database entries for post type product and not allowing to save our settings?

I learned from previous updates to backup the plugin prior to update.

We love the plugin and appreciate your hard work. You should really charge for this plugin as it is a must and brilliant.

    Kind Regards
