I managed to deactivate and delete the plug. But when I got the plug in again, and activated it, I got the same Fatal error. The error interferes with several functions on the dashboard. I hope it can be corrected.

Well, I fiddled around with the settings, and I got what appeared to be the correct widget. But then….
Fatal error: Internal Zend error – Missing class information for in /home/content/53/7197953/html/wp-content/plugins/amazon-link/include/amazonSearch.php on line 38
Now I can’t open my plugins page to remove the Amazon plug in and start over.

I figured it out. It was “sexybookmarks” gone bad somehow. I switched over to “sharedaddy”
