@2farnorth: Could you share where you found it? That would be fantastic!
@sona: where would I find the option to turn on media library?
Cheers,

In reply to: [Font Awesome 4 Menus] Menu icons not showing in menuHi, how did you get it to work? Same issue here: if I only insert the fa code, I get an X showing above the menu item.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Skrollr] MensongesFabien, sache bien que cela ne represente nullement mon attitude:

Andre
@aljuk: did you apply the revised update Greg posted? If so, could you let us know if the issue is fixed? I need to be careful as this is a client’s website and I don’t want to mess it up!
Thanks!
Andre
Hi John, OK, I’m heading there.
Thanks!
OK, well I’m confused even more now. I purchase the PRO version and installed.
1- I can’t “share” from my other FB account to this new one for some reason, which defeats the purpose.
2- http://www.soakingplanet.com/gleanings/ isn’t showing images, only my activity log.
3- what is it I’m missing?
Thanks!
Hi John,
OK I was finally able to get a page going:
https://www.facebook.com/soakingplanet/I installed the FREE version of your plugin for now to make sure it’s all working right:
http://www.soakingplanet.com/gleanings/So right now I only see text, but I do get a feed from Facebook.
What I’m trying to do is: when I find great posts on other people’s timeline like articles, videos or pictures – I usually will “SHARE” them on my own timeline. I’d like for these – and only these – to also be displayed on my website.
Thanks again for the help, I’ll get there… 🙂
Andre
OK, yes, makes sense. However, I still can’t find a reliable tutorial to show me where to go to change the settings in Facebook. The screenshot you have doesn’t correspond to what I have on mine…
Thanks!
Thank you John, I’m sorry to say that I’ve tried to grasp the content you shared but my brain is like teflon… Here is my FB account: https://www.facebook.com/andre.soakingnet
And when I look at the screenshot you show, http://smashballoondemo.com/wp-content/themes/smashballoon/img/facebook-page-restrictions.png I really can’t find the equivalent in my own account.
I don’t mind purchasing the Pro version if necessary, I just want to be able to share some of my FB posts on my site: http://www.soaking.net (maybe I’ll rename the site at a later date).
So basically, if other people post on my timeline, I don’t want it to show on my website, unless I “share” it.
Help! 🙂

In reply to: How do you automatically play audio on mobile devicesI see, do you know what kind of “coding” this would take? I’d like to investigate further but need to know what to look for.
I’ll see about other plugins as well, that would autoplay on mobile devices.
Thank you , Sir, you have been most helpful… 🙂
Cheers,
Andre

In reply to: How do you automatically play audio on mobile devices@ashiquzzaman – Is there a setting for default volume? I looked at the shortcodes page but there are no “defaultvolume” settings. I tried a few different ones without success.
Thanks again, this will make my client happy, if only I can fix the default volume…

Andre

In reply to: How do you automatically play audio on mobile devicesI am using Wonderplugin (paid) to insert audio. I wrote them and they say you can’t activate autoplay to play on mobile devices.
But I entered your code, changing the file names (I deleted the one for the wav file as the file it’s much too big). I inserted this in a “advanced” option screen in that plugin. But it’s not working.
However, including your code in the page, at the bottom, does work!!!
Many thanks!

In reply to: How do you automatically play audio on mobile devices@ashiquzzaman: and how would you code it so it responds to MOBILE devices? Because that is the issue we’re facing…
Thanks!

In reply to: How do you automatically play audio on mobile devicesI have been looking for a solution as well, but apparently autoplay is not desirable on mobile devices since they pay per bit/data/time, etc. and this would start an event that would trigger extra cost for the mobile device owner. Many work-arounds have been suggested, but they seem to become outdated within a few months and not working anymore.
So, nothing can be done for now…
That is all I know! If anyone gets a breakthrough, please share! 🙂
