I entered the following code, using both my theme css and a custom css field, but nothing happened.
.cn-entry {
background-color: #f3f3f3;
}Would it be possible to tell me which file I have to edit, and which class/id?
I would rather not spend money right now as I’m not even sure my client will like it. But I need to show something, and would prefer being able to darken a bit that background in the info boxes.
Thank you!
I see, thank you. So the Free plugin does not have a category listing, but I can create one. I may go for the extensions, but first I have to sell this to my client.
The customization I’m after is how to change the colors, background colors, for the “cards.” Is there a “Custom CSS” feature of some kind I can use for this?
The 404 error kind of disappeared without me doing anything. No worries on that front.
Thank you again!
Andre
Thank you for the reply, Steve. The three that are displayed (free version) are:
– Default Entry Card 3.0 by Steven A. Zahm
– Names 1.0.1 by Steven A. Zahm
– Profile Entry Card 3.0 by Steven A. ZahmAre you saying that the free version should display a list of categories? It doesn’t have to be a dropdown, but should be clearly visible. And as far as customizing the default template, can it be done?
If I click on Customize/Global Options/ and select Character index, the preview screen gives a “Not found, error 404.” So I don’t know.
Using it for Organizations and not for Individuals, all I want is to show the CATEGORIES names (alphabetically) on top, not characters. When people would click those, they would be taken to that category’s listing. And that category’s menu would still show on top, on every page for quick navigation.
Thanks!
Andre
I second that request! After a while, you have many images, and instead of always having to drag up the latest, it wold be convenient to have the last one end up in the first slot. Is there a way to filter the images using this kind of SORTING setting?
Thanks, other than that, this is an outstanding gallery!
Thank YOU! I revised my review as well… 🙂

Works perfectly! 😀
Thank you!
Thank you @bradvin, I also got your reply to my support request. I appreciate you sending a corrected version. Working on it right now, will let you know how it goes.
Cheers!

Hi Roger,
I took a look and it’s now showing. Your theme is using a lazy loading method, so as we scroll down it’s loading more pics. They seem to take a bit of time, though, but it may depend on how many pics it’s using.
Looks great!
Just a curious user… 🙂

Well done! I see you were able to achieve your goal, looks awesome. Can you share how you did it?

Hi, I’m not part of the support team but I looked at your site and the shortcode yo’re using isn’t from Foo Gallery. Your gallery shortcode should be looking like this :
[foogallery id=”1234″]
Did you decide to use a different gallery?
Hope this helps,
styzer
Hi, I can’t believe it’s been 9 months since you posted this question. Have you found a solution?
What I found out is that “by default” the Foo gallery creates thumbnails, and these thumbnails are in PNG image format, no matter if you insert a GIF, it will always make it a PNG. Therefore, we can’t see an animated GIF on the front of the gallery, only the thumbnails. Even if we select not to crop, even if we enter the same size, it will use the first image of the animation.
I wrote a support question and a review, hopefully they will choose to respond at some point. I’m impressed with the gallery, not with the support so far. But, maybe they’re just having a hard year…
Hope this helps some,
styzer
I was able to do it, although I ran in strange issues with redirections. But all is back to normal now!
Thanks for the help,
Andre
RESOLVED. For the first time in ever I forgot to link the db with user and set privileges. All good now.
Could I ask another question. Duplicator works great to clone a site to a different server or folder. But what if I wanted to restore a package on the same server, in the same folder, without deleting 3 years of work before I know it will show correctly? Like using Duplicator as a backup plugin in case the site would have issues. Is there a quick was to restore the package? I don’t want the site to be offline for more than a few minutes.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Full-width customization : hover and make item same size?YES!! thank you, Tom!
One more?
1- I’d like to have the menu items fill 100% of the menu bar width. So if I have 4 or 6 menu items, they will automatically resize to fill the full width. Right now they look a bit lost in the page… 🙂
2- For some reason I lost the shadow under the main menu bar. Where would I set it?
Thank you!
