Joe and zviera – if you have the IQ Country plug-in installed, try deactivating it and then click the ‘Start a Wordfence Scan’ button. So far that has worked on 4/4 of my sites. Will see if the scheduling works tomorrow. I read in a thread somwehre that Wordfence would not work with that plugin. That combo did work on some of my sites up to a few days ago (Feb 2/3), but then stopped working.
I’m experiencing a similar situation as Joe. I updated WordPress to 4.4.2 (as per the Wordfence email today) and any out-of-date plug-ins on a couple of my sites and then clicked on the Wordfence start scan button. It said it was requesting the scan and then nothing happened. This happened on 3 sites so far. Usually a scan starts and the summary unfolds in the summary box.
I found a post on the Wordfence site from a customer who had an issue with scheduled scans not happening due to a Caching plug-in. So I deactivated WP-Supercache and removed the code it injected into the main wp-config gile (as per that post) and Wordfence still wouldn’t scan. (I know scheduled scans are different from manual scans.)
One two sites the summary scan area included the scan results of a scan ran earlier today. For one site this summary scan had a date from December yet the logs say a scheduled scan happened.
Any suggestions on how to get the ‘start scan’ function in Wordfence to work again?

In reply to: Newest post taking a minute to loadAs per some previous threads, it’s likely the Tweet This plug-in. I deactivated it (as per TechArtist’s suggestion in another thread) and now my new posts and my homepage appear in full (vs just the header).

In reply to: New Posts are Timing out BlogHey Techartist,
Thanks for figuring that out! My blog would only show my header when I posted a new post today. The homepage and the post page wouldn’t appear in full.
When I deactivated the Tweet This plug-in as per your suggestion above, both the homepage and the post page now appear.
I sent an email to the plug-in creator to let him know.
Thanks again!

In reply to: 2.2 Upgrade Changed the Default FormattingThanks xformed. I had two youtube videos posted and they had different codes. One had ‘param name=allowScriptAccess’ etc and that one was causing the formatting of my blog to break in Firefox and Netscape.
When I changed it to the coding for youtube that didn’t contain those variables the clip played and the formatting worked in all 3 browsers! Yeah!!!

In reply to: Upgrade 2.2 Wrecked My SiteThis also happened to me. When I upgraded to 2.1.3 using Fantastico I had no problems. I used Fantastico again to upgrade from 2.1.3 to 2.2 and the formatting of my site, when using Firefox, is a mess.
– I’m using the default theme and the top and bottom look fine. The middle section (below the header and above the footer) shows two posts (aligned correctly) but not on the white background that used to be there.
– Posts 3-10 are right next to the left part my screen.
– The sidebar is below the posts now. When I read Moshu’s post with the link to a note about upgrading, I followed the instructions on that page which said:
“pre-Version 2.2, Fantastico will use the wp-config-sample.php file to regenerate a new wp-config.php file. By doing this, two new values, DB_CHARSET and DB_COLLATE, are placed into the wp-config.php file. Those lines should be deleted from your wp-config.php if you are upgrading from a pre-Version 2.2 (like 2.0.10 or 2.1.3) to Version 2.2.1. A detailed explanation about DB_CHARSET and DB_COLLATE can be found in Editing wp-config.php.”
I deleted the two lines in the config.php file and the blog looks exactly the same.
Any ideas on why the formatting isn’t working?
Sue
