Almost same issue we are also facing with event tickets plugin in Multisite enviroment. When the Plugin is active on main site in Multisite enviroment it does not allow to create subsite and shows database erorrs, and now after deactivating events plugin on main site and created new seprate site in seprate subsite after activating event tickets also shows database error issues in latest wordpress press
