Update: Resolved!
I checked the Keep Cache wp-config option on Step 3 and it worked.
Everything is fine now, my site is restored on the Godaddy server.

Hi Corey, thanks for your advice.
I ended up doing a manual extraction to my local computer following the instructions here and ftp-ing the files to the remote server. It went successfully to step 2.
I am now on Step 3 of the Duplicator installer, which shows “Please try again an issue has occurred.
Server Code: 0
Status: error
Response: undefined.”
There’s no evidence of anything wrong in the dup-installer-log.txt or the server logs.
Is there anything I should change in the wp-config file options when I try again?
