After some troubleshooting, I found that BWP (Better WordPress Minify) plugin was causing the issue. The plugin was deactivated and the issue was resolved.

You were absolutely right about the diagnosis. It was not your plugin problem but that of Autoptimize plugin side error. I actually installed that plugin a few days ago to make my website faster which really did well. However, I lost the page/tab looks and appearance as a result. When I revert back to the old setting in that plugin, the problem resolved itself.
