No problem, it is an excellent plugin.
I have some suggested enhancements for the ‘Pro’ version to differentiate it from the free version, these suggestions are for the Media File Renamer scancheck page:
- Could a 150×150 thumbnail be shown?
- Can the Auto-Rename button ignore if the letter case of the filename and the suggested filename aren’t the same?
- Could ‘uploaded date’ be added to this page and it be the default order
- Could the columns on this page be sortable?
- Can the Edit Media button open in a new window?

In reply to: Importing 4.3.1 database into 4.4Hi Jay
I have done this myself a few times as the the new site’s WordPress Database Table prefix in wp-config.php didn’t match that of the database I’d imported.
Check that the new site’s value matches that in your imported database 🙂
Hi folks, spaces in the file names also cause the images to ‘disappear’.
Quick fix, rename the files to remove the spaces, remove from the gallery, re-scan the folder.
Many thanks.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] GCal API update on Nov 17Appreciate your efforts 🙂
Mine is still working (touch wood) as my cache hours is set to a crazy high value.
May be worth restoring the database from a backup from when the plugin was working and changing the cache refresh period via PHPAdmin so the data is kept whilst the dev’s work on their update?
Ditto – and I believe this function has been broken for several releases.
It would be great to get it resolved.
LearningViaVideo,
Have you checked your wp-config.php file for:
define( ‘FORCE_SSL_LOGIN’, true );
define( ‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, true );
define( ‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, true );If you find them – remove the lines and resave.
You can edit wp-config.php via FTP or your cPanel account, it is usually in the folder containing the WP install, but may be one directory level up.
My wpconfig was being forced to HTTPS on deactivating the plugin.
Took a while to find it – was just changing domain names etc. Got there in the end 🙂

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Broken Link Checker installation failed. My internally located “Development system” (my dev system is not connected to the internet) is showing the same issue so this discounts any foul play by any third parties.
The development system hasn’t had any updates for over two months so it’s not related to any plugin issues elsewhere.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Broken Link Checker installation failed.Same here very odd!
Thank you for this plugin – it is a must-have.
Another vote please for enhancing the ‘Hide Backend’ to only allow it to be visible to only a whitelist of IPs.
Many thanks.

In reply to: [Facebook Fan Box Cache] Plugin Not Working with WordPress 3.5.1Thank you Don, I have installed 2.5, getting the header of the Fan box but no fans.
Here’s a link to the site with the plugin installed, the FB Cache Widget is top-right. http://bit.ly/VzYzt5
The Fanbox ID is 157537344266473
So I set-up a fresh WP3.5.1 setup, with default theme and just the FB Cache Plugin + Widget and I get the same result.
I don’t see anything in the HTML to indicate the pictures are being loaded.
Would appreciate any suggestions that you may have.
Many thanks,
SteveI have the same problem since Monday …

In reply to: [Facebook Fan Box Cache] Plugin Not Working with WordPress 3.5.1Hi Rob – love the styling you have done for the Widget on your site – it’s seamless with the rest of the page.
If you clear the cache for the Plugin, does it continue to work?

In reply to: [Facebook Fanbox (with CSS Support)] Something has changed with WP v3.5 ?I have an using a different plugin –> http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/facebook-fan-box-cache/ that does the same kind of thing and we’re seeing similar issues.
Looks like Facebook changed something!
