In reply to: [teachPress] Lingering database tables and Teachpress options after installThanks for looking into it. I’ll take a look at the Toolset Types settings again, there is no teachpress custom group type in the plugin’s system, but this plugin does manage access to all custom group types, so perhaps it is keeping residual serialized data about the teachpress plugin in it’s access management system even after the plugin has been deleted.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [teachPress] Lingering database tables and Teachpress options after installHere is the box that continues to show up in every edit page on my site:
Teachpress Custom Group Edit Box
Also the following standard WordPress tables still have serialized teachpress information with the value “wpcf-group-teachpress”.
Thanks for your help,

In reply to: [teachPress] Lingering database tables and Teachpress options after installThanks for your reply, sorry for the delayed follow up.
I was able to remove the lingering tables thru phpMyAdmin, but I am still seeing the teachpress custom group box showing up in every edit page on my site. This is really hard to remove because it appears it is embedded in a serialized format into various places in my database. I have not yet found a good way to clean it out. I have been looking for some time now.
Working with serialized data is not simple as it’s so easy to take down the entire site trying to edit the code. And I see no way from the admin area of the site to clean up this lingering custom meta data from teachpress. I have tried to find a plugin that would allow me to view and clean serialized data from the database, but have not found one yet. If you know of one, I would welcome a suggestion.
Thanks,
SuzanneThanks Benjamin,
It is working now…thanks. It would be good to say that we need Extended Views in the support text for the plugin. Especially where you are listing all the shortcodes. It doesn’t say in these sections which ones are included in the standard plugin and which require this add-on.
Thanks again,
