Hello Krystian,
sorry, but i can’t see any options or toggles switches for the automatically enabled “Alternative Payment Methods”. In the plugin settings > Overview shows only a box for “Alternative Payment Methods” with a text “Offer global, country-specific payment options for your customers.” and a Button “Register” and a Link with more Information. In plugin settings > “Payment Methods” are only two options to enable PayPal itself and “Pay later”-Option. There ist no list visible for “Alternative Payment Methods”.
Can you help with this?
Kind regards,
SvenHey Krystian,
we just noticed the update of your plugin to version 4.0.1. The settings interface looks completely new.
We have now disabled the checkbox for PayPal Smart Buttons under Styling > Button Styling for the classic checkout. After running another test order with the previously described Austrian pickup-station address case, it seems that this issue is now resolved.
However, we would like to ask how we can disable the additionally displayed Trustly payment method.
Best regards
SvenHello Krystian,
We can confirm the following:
- The option “Require a final confirmation on checkout” has always been enabled on our side and was not disabled by default.
- We have now identified that the issue is likely related to the “Classic Checkout” Smart Button setting.
When “Classic Checkout” is selected under the Smart Button positions, the final checkout step shows a large PayPal button instead of the standard WooCommerce “Place order” button. - Based on this, we will now test removing “Classic Checkout” from the Smart Button positions, so that the checkout uses the regular WooCommerce order submission flow instead.
This seems consistent with your explanation that the issue may be caused by the Smart Button / express-style checkout context rather than the standard checkout flow.
We will report back once we have completed the test.
Thanks a lot for your quick response.
Hello,
thank you for your clarification.
We can confirm that the pickup station selection in our store is handled by WooCommerce Germanized Pro.
Regarding your suggestion to disable the “Pay Now experience”: we could not find a setting with that exact label in our configuration at first. However, we found what appears to be the corresponding option in our PayPal Payments settings:
“Require a final confirmation on checkout”
(German UI: “Erfordere eine finale Bestätigung an der Kasse”)We assume this is the setting you are referring to.
For reference, we created a screenshot of that setting here:
https://imgur.com/a/rWUnrNYShould we disable this option?
To summarize our current findings:
- the pickup station setup is provided by WooCommerce Germanized Pro
- the full address is visible in emails and in the PayPal transaction details
- with bank transfer, both
_shipping_address_1and_shipping_address_2are stored correctly - with PayPal,
_shipping_address_2is missing from the final WooCommerce order - this suggests the issue may occur during the PayPal checkout / order synchronization flow
Best regards
Hello,
our database user’s permissions have now been adjusted and I was able to easily upgrade your plugin from 3.5.32 to 3.6.5.
Best, SvenHey @archita,
Thanks for checking in. I’ve forwarded the issue to the company’s admin, and a ticket has already been opened with their hosting provider. I’m still waiting for the fix, but I’m pretty sure it will be working then.
I’ll get back to you.
Best, SvenHello,
it seems our database user doesn’t have all the necessary permissions to update the plugin. I’m just surprised that we never had this problem during normal operation in previous years.
… working on fixing the permissions.
Hey, thanks a lot!

In reply to: [Depicter — Popup & Slider Builder] Transition effect after updateHey @averta,
i am a little surprised and sorry that i have to come back with this issue. After updating to your latest v.3.1.2 my slider still only works with basic transition (slide) effect. My setting is fade but it still slides… With another rollback to 2.1.11 fading works fine again.
Tried all, removing shortcode an place it again, flushing all caches… still slide not fade.
Also in Depicter settings preview it does not change to fading.
Can you help?
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
