Unfortunately I don’t have the time to let you investigate. As far as I am concerned the recovery of the backup failed so your plugin didn’t do what it was supposed to do which is why I left the very accurate review. The review was not intended to solicit support as the moderator incorrectly claimed as I had already removed the plugin and resolved the issue with my host but that’s another reason why I take the reviews on here with a very large pinch of salt.

I am having similar issues to these again but this time it is asking for an address even though there already is one and the first and last name of the customer is showing even though it is there. https://imgur.com/a/QwHgr9x
I tried the suggestion previously given but this means a customer doesn’t need to enter their address which we need so that solution won’t work. I can provide a full video of the issue happening https://imgur.com/a/EBOJiCx
I have tried this with all plugins deactivated, using a different theme (Twenty Twenty-Four) and using an incognito browser and it still happens so I’m not sure what is causing the issue.

I have managed to fix the issue by deleting the global $ group and then remaking it. I think there must have been an issue where Ireland had been included in that group and then deleted but the deletion hadn’t worked correctly.

I didn’t even need to do that, it has just suddenly started working. I’m guessing there was just some kind of caching issue or something like that.

I tried using the Shop base address in the Calculate tax based on setting but this means a customer pays tax even when they don’t need to so this isn’t a solution to the issue.
Our prices are already set to include tax too so that hasn’t solved the issue either.
The issue seems to be caused by the country the user has selected being automatically deleted from the checkout dropdown.
In the video example (https://imgur.com/UGRDyI3) I add a £50 product to the cart and then go to the checkout. The country has been selected as the UK which is correct but when I go back to the shopping cart the tax has been removed so the product is now £41.67 and when I go back to the checkout the country box is now empty. Why does this happen?
