Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: posts_nav_link CategoryIt’s not the first page that’s giving me a problem – when I try to click to the Next Page (at the bottom), it brings up entries that are in a different category. I want them to be the next pages in the same “Eat” category. I hope that makes sense..
And yeah, my home page is a static page.

In reply to: posts_nav_link CategoryThis is my index.php: http://wordpress.pastebin.com/m1zRVkSC
But for my home page, I’m using a template (main.php). Here it is: http://wordpress.pastebin.com/CKaqpZnk
Thank you!

In reply to: Centering content on a pageThank you! I have it almost exactly how I want it but now I have one new problem – for some reason, I have a big empty space on my category pages. For example, if you go here: http://eatsmilesleep.com/category/eat/ , you can see that there’s a big chunk of whitespace at the top. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

In reply to: Centering content on a pageI changed both of those items but now I think it might look worse. In IE, my right sidebar has scooted over and in Firefox, there’s a big gap in between my words and pictures – which is very odd.
Also, I don’t see it behave correctly if I re-size the browsers – I still have the same issue. It looks like the content is staying in one place on the screen while the background resizes with the browser. I’d like it to all be one way or the other. Any suggestions? =\
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: Margins in Firefox vs IEIn case this doesn’t make sense, here’s an example of what I would like the behavior to be: http://annabelleleetv.blogspot.com/ . If you try resizing the browser, the content still remains in the white part of the background. If you try that on my blog, it doesn’t.

In reply to: Margins in Firefox vs IEI’ve realized the problem – it looks fine on some monitors but when you re-size the browser (as would happen on a larger monitor), the background does what is expected – moves with the browser. However, the content doesn’t and therefore doesn’t fit into the background.
Is there a way to make the center div act like the background – kind of “fix” it or “attach” it to the background so it moves with it? I hope this makes sense.
Thanks again for your help.

In reply to: Margins in Firefox vs IEThanks for the response – I think I’m still missing something though. I changed the width to fit the elements inside, and adjusted the right margin a bit, but it’s still very different between IE/Chrome and Firefox. Can you take another look and tell me if I’m doing something else wrong?
Thanks again for your help.
