In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] My site is broken?Yes you did. You tried to install the W3 Total Cache plugin. I did too and my site also went down with an error on screen.
To solve the problem: remove the plugin by FTP, remove the cache folder in the wp-content folder and recovered the .htaccess file. The site works back again.
Sometimes a plugin doesn’t work with a theme or other plugins. That’s why developers want to know all the plugins and theme’s you have on your site, so they can check for bugs.
Succes er mee!

In reply to: [WP Booklet] SelectionI saw the update in my admin-panel. The 10-page limit is solved. I didn’t test with a 90 page document yet, but it will come.
I’ll change my 1 star to a 5 star. Not just because the plugin works now (and does what you described) but because of your fast support and actions!

In reply to: [WP Booklet] SelectionThanks. The setting has changed… but it has no influence on the behaviour. The plugin is converting 10 pages and then leaves nothing else than blank pages, or no images.

I could add pages manually but that’s not the intention of a plugin that could do the job. Besides, i have some large PDF’s (lika a 90 pages).

In reply to: Network for separate students logbooks? Thanks for your reply.
I was talking about users, my bad. It should be: admin of site #2 could edit posts/pages of site #1. This problem is already solved. It had to do with new user roles of excisting sites and new registered sites.
I checked your link to the Glow-weblogs. I didn’t register but a kind of portal for students/pupils to register themselves and make use of their WordPress logbook is cool.
It’s not for making money, it’s for offer something that’s useful for a lot of kids and schools. (and as i’m not a programmer i depend on tutorials, plugins and widgets to be offered to the community)Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Creating a very mini wordpress.comFrisco,
I’m not a webdevver myself. I’m a teacher and i want to do something similar for students. The subject i teach is making use of logbooks. I thought that with multisite i could create a kind of “mini wordpress.com” but i couldn’t find it.
The system you are creating is a little bit too large for me, as i make use of a shared hosting provider. Did you find any information about setting up a system like this? All i can find is about WPMU or WordPress Network. My conclusion is that WPMU or Network is slightly different and not working the way i want it to work.
Any chance you can point me in the same direction you’re going?
