In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Fatal errorHey @vantuykomn,
That’s slightly surprising, and very unfortunate. Hopefully it didn’t set you back too much! We’ve now released the fix for this bug, so it should not happen again.
Thanks again for reporting.

In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Fatal errorHi @vantuykomn,
We’re very sorry this happened, and thanks a million for reporting the problem to us.
We’ve identified the cause and created a fix. We’ll release that asap.
Maybe helpful for the future, if a plugin causes an error, you can remove or rename the plugin folder via FTP/file manager, and that will also disable the plugin. That saves you the hassle of installing a full backup.Sorry it took a while to get back to you @daymobrew. Last week, we released version 1.6.0, which includes fixes based on your feedback.

In reply to: [Fewer Tags Free] Is the plugin abandoned?Hey @midway88,
The plugin isn’t abandoned, and should work like a charm on those tag-heavy sites!

In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Great for short term useHey @melinahein,
Thanks for your review! I’m happy to hear that you found value in the plugin. And I’m sad to hear it caused problems in the long(er) run.
I’d like to better understand the situation you ended up in. To do so, it would be helpful to have a rough idea of the size of your site, database and number of options. Is that information you can share here, or through a private message?
Thanks,
TacoHey @daymobrew,
Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, I’ll have to relay it to our dev team. We’ll get back to you asap.

In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Order by size@webdados, have the problems resolved with the update to 1.5.1, or do you still see the malformed tables?
In case they’re still malformed, could you maybe try in a different browser, to see if that has the same effect?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Feature Request – “Select all”Thanks for asking @nnikolaj!
We’ve just released version 1.5.1, which partially fixes this problem. You should now be able to select all options in view with a single click. It’s not yet 1000 at a time, but at the very least you don’t have to select them one-by-one anymore.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Option to batch selectYou’re absolutely right, @mpmchugh.
It was there, but we accidentally broke it in our latest release. We’ll fix it asap!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Have some negative reviews been addressed?Hey @eftcolumbus,
Thanks for asking! The answer is slightly more complicated than a simple yes or no. So please stay with me for a bit.
Yes, AAA Option Optimizer will store data in an option_value in the wp_options table. However, that data is _not_ autoloaded, and is only used on our own plugin page. Also, the 25MB mentioned in that review is quite an extreme case. You’ll need to have a very large website for that to happen!
And since we’re all about optimizing your options, we’ll remove our options when you delete the plugin from WordPress.
The good news is that AAA Option Optimizer isn’t creating any log files. So if it fills logs, it means that either you have a logging plugin that catches something, or it’s the PHP error log that catches an error. In both cases, we’d love to hear that from you so we can take appropriate action!
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. And when you do try the plugin, please let us know how you feel about it. We’d love to get your feedback!
Thanks,

In reply to: [AAA Option Optimizer] Order by sizeHey @webdados,
I’m afraid I don’t quite understand what you’re referring to. To my knowledge, no sorting options have been removed from the plugin.
Running version 1.5.0 of the plugin on my site, I’m seeing the following:
https://snipboard.io/ROXGmf.jpgCould there be a plugin conflict, or JS error on your site that’s interfering with DataTables JS?
We’re closing this thread as we haven’t heard back from you in a while.
If you have any additional questions or information, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
