My guess would be that the product or listing pages were made by the same account (you) and therefore you’re initiating a chat with that user (you) every time. You’re seeing the username of the person you’re chatting with (you/admin). Does that make sense?

To be honest, I’m not sure since we haven’t tested that combination. But TalkJS seems to work perfectly fine with most WordPress plugins.

Although to be honest we haven’t thoroughly tested, it should work with any plugin/framework on top of WordPress (+ WooCommerce) because TalkJS uses any roles WordPress uses. And you can select what roles should be able to chat.
Hope this helps. But to be sure you can try it yourself for free. TalkJS is free in a development environment, you’ll only start paying when you actually go live.

Apologies for this extreme late reply– somehow your question got totally missed by us. To answer (if hopefully still relevant), yes for sure! TalkJS works very well with WC Vendors.
