I’ve having the same issue, with NextGEN Gallery 2.0.66.16 and WPML 3.1.6 installed.
This happens on many website, and the behaviour it’s always the same… all the translated home pages are redirect to default language home pages.It is like something in nextgen conflicts with wpml rewrite rules.
Any ideas? At the moment I’ve downgraded to 2.0.66
