I have no idea how to use MD5. I looked in the php manual online but I don’t understand a thing.
I just don’t understand why this is so complicated. Shouldn’t the login information be there to see in phpMyAdmin?
How can the log in information be something that doesn’t appear?!It’s not the password that is the problem; from what I can see, it is the user_login that doesn’t work because I have changed the password several times now using the “lost password” link on the login page.

The last thing I have tried is making sure the user name is the same in phpMyAdmin and in when I use FTP. They were different.
It still doesn’t work.

I get “failed to open” on everything in public_html where the wp-config is located.I don’t think I have anything on the computer. Never used FTP before. Always worked on the site while online.
