In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] How to hide ManageWP from Plugins listHi James,
ManageWP have White Label feature integrated into the dashboard as one of the premium add-ons. https://managewp.com/features/white-labelSimply turn on the White label add-on and choose the option to “Hide ManageWP Worker from the plugin/widget list“.
No need for writing scripts or troubleshooting.
Hey folks, let me re-iterate what my colleague Nemanja also disclosed on Twitter. We have been looking for some time for a team that has previous contributions, activity in the WordPress space, reputation and team size (a.k.a. willingness and resources) to properly maintain and invest into this plugin.
We finally found a great team willing to do just that and we are in a final stages of the adoption process. We are hoping to wrap up everything and have an official announcement soon.P.S.
Thanks for getting in touch with us Peter.- This reply was modified 6 years, 6 months ago by tazz.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Managewp IP blacklistedHi,
Definitely not any hacking attempt.ManageWP uses wide range of IP addresses as most of our services are distributed across several server instances and clusters. The IP in question is used by ManageWP for website management.
Here is a full list of IP addresses that ManageWP uses for normal operations: https://managewp.com/troubleshooting/general/managewp-ips-can-white-list
Also, in cases when 3rd party is providing the service – the requests may come from their range of IP addresses.
For example, ManageWP Uptime Monitor is powered by Uptime Robot. Most false positives happen when some of the IPs used to scan the website are blocked by hosting providers. To prevent this from happening on your websites you should make sure all the IP addresses Uptime Robot uses (https://uptimerobot.com/locations) are whitelisted.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Dismiss ‘You’re almost there…’ notification on local setupHi dalmo,
Thank for your suggestion. I will deliver it to our Product team but I cannot promise anything.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Cloning websiteCan’t really know the cause without the access to both environments.
Best advice I can give based on this is to deactivate all plugins before the cloning if you suspect one of them is causing the issues.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Cloning IssuesBased on what you are describing the issue are coming from the changes on your server, specifically “Allowed memory size”, and not ManageWP worker in itself.
If you open a support ticket, our team can help you to identify the error. But it sounds like something that needs to be done on the server.
I am sorry for not being to help out more, but I have no idea what server are you running this on (hosting, limits, load, etc.).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Plugin keeps deleting itself when activated.Hi guys, this would be something that our support team need to investigate in order to give you an answer. We really need to know your account and get your permission to examine the site before we can tell you what is going on.
Can you tell me at least what hosting are you on?

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Did a restore from your dashboard and lost the website@nanny7 PHP version should have no relevance to the restoration process. ManageWP is compatible with the latest PHP version and backward compatible with previous versions of PHP.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] MangedWP ip being blocked: 54.191.137.17If Wordfence is blocking the ManageWP IP address, then you’ll need to whitelist it or unblock it in Wordfence. Since it is a different product/plugin, ManageWP support cannot really help there (although I’m sure they’ll try to advise the correct course of action).

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Notification won’t go awayHi Ray, I’m sorry to hear that you had to resort to that level of customization in order to get rid of unwanted notifications.
You can choose what level of notification to receive right from your dashboard Settings menu.
Hope our guide can help there: https://managewp.com/guide/getting-started/managewp-settings.
Let me know if we can help in any way further.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Please update this pluginHi everyone,
I don’t have much more information at this moment but what I can say is that this plugin is not actively maintained by ManageWP.
This is also a reason no one from ManageWP is watching over this page and answering questions. Thanks again Patrick for getting in touch with us over Twitter.
I’ll share more information on this thread when I have more informations to the questions raised here.

In reply to: Cannot change language with old databaseHi boernei,
I’m sorry to say that I don’t have that much detailed experience related to translation installations. Which sadly includes troubleshooting this issue a bit further.
But, if I may offer you a following solution:
Not sure if you already know this but there is a community here, dedicated to translating WordPress to various languages: https://make.ww.wp.xz.cn/polyglots/
There is high probability that someone had similar difficulties as you, and might know a solution to this particular problem.
Hope you will find answer there. Keeping fingers crossed.
Best of luck

Hope you will also pitch in, as the community can always use some help.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: What is wrong with wordpress !?Hi scyber,
I understand that it is frustrating tracking all the updates and installing them. They are however quite recommended since this 4.6.1 is specifically created to address some Security vulnerabilities and reported bugs. In another words – your sites will be safer with new update.
So in another words – you are not forced to track them and install them if you don’t want to – but you’ll be a lot safer if you do. A matter of choice for any of us I guess.
Here is an article detailing the last update: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/news/2016/09/wordpress-4-6-1-security-and-maintenance-release/
It is, as always, totally up to you to choose.
