Resolved with plugin update 2.06.
ILLID,
An interesting wrinkle: if you complete a search with just the first 2-5 numbers of a SKU, the search goes through. For example, I just tested searches for 91, 910, 9102, and 91029 and was presented with the appropriate results page. Search for 910298, however and the search comes up empty.- This reply was modified 5 years, 11 months ago by TBCShane.
That’s correct, I’m seeing the same behavior.
The Avada theme uses Fusion Builder. I’m also using the Product Visibility by User Role for WooCommerce Pro plugin to hide certain products from clients.
The SKU I used as an example above is not a hidden product. It displays for all customers.
Thanks!
Thanks,
Yes SKU Search is enabled on the settings page. Here’s the search page: https://store.solidscape.com/?s=build+plate&post_type=product&type_aws=trueThe link above shows the results for the build plate product. If you try searching for its SKU, 930505, no results are shown unless you wait for the contextual dropdown.
Thanks!
This seems to only be an issue when searching by SKU.
Illid,
Just to follow up, I can confirm that setting the products to hidden individually works with your fix, but setting products to hidden in the bulk section of the PRO version of the plugin does not seem compatible with your fix. Any solution for that element? Thanks!
Thanks Illid,
That seems to be working for products that are hidden individually (from their individual product page) but not for products added to the bulk area of the visibility plugin. This looks to be more an issue with the Product Visibility by User Role plugin than it is an issue with your fix. Thanks for the snippet — looks to be working as expected!
Thanks for your quick reply. This issue was fixed with the new update this morning.
Damian,
Checking back in on this issue. Thanks,

Looking forward to the update later this year. Any other recommendations for improving searchability of a product using your plugin (i.e. search terms for variations on product name, etc.)Thanks!

This issue has been resolved. Please note that this plugin does not play well with the default WordPress registration page (i.e. http://www.your-url.com/wp-login.php?action=register). Any passwords fed through that page while using this plugin will not make it to the database.
Instead, I created a new page and dropped in the registration shortcode found at the developer’s site here. That code should look like this:
[wpmem_form register]. Any registration going through your new registration page will feed through the plugin and provide the appropriate emails and calls to the database.Once completed, I redirected any traffic going to the default wordpress page with the 301 redirects plugin. This could have also been done via .htaccess.
Cheers.

Actually, the random posts isn’t working correctly in that it only pulls the first two posts and alternates between them instead of pulling from the body of posts made.
Help?
Please disregard.
Thanks!
