My site is installed via ww.wp.xz.cn, not WordPress.com, so the link above doesn’t answer the question.
In wordpress, I have also unchecked all options that allow people to comment or register – and there is zero place on my website (which is still being built) for anyone to do either. I have comments disabled, and I have unchecked “Anyone Can Register”.
