Hey,
That’s where I started from though, and it does not prevent duplicates, it simply prevents Facebook from picking up on them. The product is still in the feed twice.
Also, it just hasn’t worked in general, see below how the item group ID is different to the ID and yet it is still duplicated:

Whereas the product ID in the feed might if the default variation is changed, which would remove the product from the FB shop and delete the tags from my posts. Which just happened on all my recent posts because of the ID change I just implemented haha.

That made it much worse. I lowered the batch size to 50 and now I’ve gone from originally having 2 duplicates, to having 6, and now finally 30.
I’ve increased the batch size back to normal and the duplicates are back to 2.
There aren’t any fatal error logs from today. The last fatal error log is from the 16th July.
Seems to have made it worse. I went from only having one duplicate to now having 5 or 6.

Thanks for the quick response.
I did not, I’ve gone through and made some of the changes now.
I have separate custom events for each thing in tag manager, just to make it easier for me. Also, when I’m using Tag Manager debug it looks like none of the regex matched events are being pushed into the data layer either:
gtm4wp.productClickEEC|gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC|gtm4wp.removeFromCartEEC|gtm4wp.checkoutOptionEEC|gtm4wp.checkoutStepEEC|gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC|gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC
So I’m still unsure how the add to cart and product view information would be processed.

I’m not too familiar with PHP, is there a way for it to (in the example above) have a second piece of $data, called $data2 and after the ‘else’ part run another set of mapping rules based on $data2?
