Thank you, all. Your feedback continues to be helpful. As I said, I will do my best to determine the client’s details as to their Dynamics CRM installation. In the meantime, to paint a clearer picture of what the client has in mind (as far as I know), let me offer this scenario:

The client (let’s call them ABCD.org), has an existing Dynamics CRM installation called MyABCD. Now, the client builds, by whatever means, a set of public-facing WordPress websites that offer organizational information, RFP’s, research results, publications, etc. Before these sites are published they must be reviewed by ABCD.org editorial staff. An editor who wishes to review one of the websites logs into MyABCD and sees on her MyABCD home page a link like “Review ABCD.org WordPress site.” Through some MyABCD interface or other, she chooses a WP site, and she is automatically logged into the WP site as an authorized user with an editor role. (The stated desire of the client is that an editor can edit a WP site without having to enter further login info (i.e. SSO) and without ABCD.org having to create a separate WP login for every editorial staff member. That’s how I understand it now.

    Hello,

Well, I am admittedly a bit out of my depth here. I was “simply” tasked with figuring out whether and how SSO functionality could be implemented. I will find out which type of Dynamics installation our client is using, and, if using on-premises, I will try to find out which back end Windows Server version and Dynamics version they are using. (My contact with the client is far from the IT folks of the organization.)

The features listed on ww.wp.xz.cn for your plugin include “Support for CRM Online and CRM On-Premises 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016.” Is this still true? In your response, your reference only to Azure makes the general status and capabilities of the plugin unclear. Thanks for your continued assistance.
