In reply to: No update required after update to 3.3I updated and suffered the same repeating “No Update Required” screen.
I simply deleted the W3 Total Cache files and everything started working.
That might be the source of the error for many….

In reply to: Admin Menus/Pages Scrambled After 2.3.1 – 2.3.2 upgradeOut of the dozen blogs I run (and regularly upgrade), this is the second time I didn’t bother to backup the database or the old files.
The 2.3.1 installation hadn’t been modified in any way, so I suppose a backgrade might help, though I suspect something was lingering there before (the lack of the version numbers causes me concern).
Just looking for some advice before I start uploading/downloading/deleting stuff and causing more damage…

In reply to: I’ve about had it…bet you heard that beforeOK, this is exactly what I want to do. I’ve got a nice, basic, HTML site (www.troutunderground.com) but would like the benefit of blog software on the one page that is updated daily (reader comments, etc).
Nothing I’ve seen so far really addresses it. Any direction would be appreciated.
