I managed to make it work by changing Options -> Reading, and selecting most recent posts instead of having a static page.

i use another plugin wich is ‘Groups’ by itthinx, to manage wich custom groups of users can view wich posts, by category. I want to be able to send notifications by category, so only users that can see posts from that category are alerted to a new post.

i get this http://localhost/wordpress/edit-profile/ when i select either of them, but on screen it shows this page http://localhost/wordpress/comunicacoes/. I’m really a newbie at this so it might be something simple that i’m just not seeing.
