I too am having this difficulty in the story.
I have followed the instructions, i.e. set the Stories Description to Full (with HTML) but I cannot get newlines to operate at all, either using HTML tags such as <br /> or <p>…</p>.
The tags are displayed as though the setting was Short (Default).
I’m just getting to grips with WP and this excellent plugin – thanks.
Since the CSS changes introduced in 1.1.8, the solution given here is presumably now out-of-date. If this assumption is correct, what changes need to be made to the solution?
