Difference Between WordPress Users and Firebase Users:

    WordPress Users:

    • Sends notifications to users registered on your WordPress website (stored in your WordPress database)
    • This includes: site subscribers, admins, editors, authors, customers, members, etc.

    Firebase Users:

    • Sends notifications to users registered in Firebase (Google’s platform for mobile/web apps)
    • Uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) API to deliver notifications

    Key Difference:

    • WordPress Users = People who signed up on your website
    • Firebase Users = People who use your mobile/web application (managed outside WordPress)

Yes, it is technically possible to sync chat history and other data between Firebase and WordPress.

Currently, this plugin is designed specifically for handling push notifications and does not manage or sync chat history between the two platforms.

However, we understand the importance of syncing chat data, and we’re already planning to address this in a separate plugin that will be focused on chat history management and data synchronization between Firebase and WordPress.

We’ll share more updates on this feature as we move forward. In the meantime, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions!
